Server is back up and running. The ip for the server has changed so anyone who edited their host file or is using the -ms command with the old ip with have to update the ip using -ms server.tnet2.org or download the latest installer from the website.

We're performing some maintenance on the server today so you might experience substantial downtime and lag while playing. Everything should be done by this evening. Thanks for being patient.

The verification has been fixed, so you will now receive an e-mail automatically if you have created a new account (the request-password feature has been fixed as well). We've also added a new game server in Sydney, Australia which will help those playing from the eastern hemisphere. Please leave your comments in the forums. Thanks.

Welcome back to our temporary website. The master server is up and running, but since we're still working on getting everything else going there may be sporadic periods of downtime. As I'm sure everybody is already aware, we've been down for quite some time. One of our players was graciously hosting the master server until a hardware failure (which seem to plague our master servers.) You've no doubt noticed a great deal of SPAM in the forums as well and a lack of response to emails sent to support@TNET2.com. So, in an attempt to put everybody on the same page, here's our status:

Master Server : Expected to be active no later than April 5, 2007.
Forum : All accounts must now be approved by forum admins. NO MORE SPAM!
Email : Spam has been whacked and responses have been sent.

TNET2 is a free game, hosted for free and managed for free. Even though it's tough for our staff to keep up with everything, we, like you, enjoy the game and its community and take pride in providing the service. We want to thank everybody for your patience and support!

As you can see, TNET2.com has been revamped with a new layout and some reorganization. I'm still in the process of installing an update script, and I'll be re-skinning the forum sometime soon. Expect more player interviews later too. Ta ta.

Hey everybody. We aplogize for the server downtime the past month and the fickle uptimes beforehand. We are in the process of moving the master to a dedicated server. The process should be completed within the next week or so. Expect the game to be back up soon! Practice those finger exercises! Thanks.
